At Hyatt, our guests choose us for the consistent, efficient service delivered by our attentive and dedicated colleagues.The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness standards are met and team performance aligns with established procedures.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting guest rooms, guest hallways, and public areas.
- Work well with your team to maintain the cleanliness scores with the tools provided
- Programming deep clean projects.
- Counseling and interviewing employees.
- Resolving guest complaints that arise from issues encountered in the rooms.
- Following up on We Care entries, working closely with Engineering to promote a successful PM program.
- Training the staff on the latest Hyatt cleanliness standards using the tools/cleaning supplies necessary to complete the tasks and other general office duties.
- The Housekeeping Supervisor will also have to be able to manage supplies in an effective way to prevent waste, complete inventories, and complete purchase orders.
- Able to oversee projects ongoing in Housekeeping.
- Able to conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain a positive relationship with the Front Office team.
