A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

The hourly rate for this position is: $22.12 per hour.

Qualifications

• Good customer skills are also required.
• Previous maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn building maintenance systems and procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed.
