Food Storeroom Attendant

Summary

The storeroom attendant is responsible for logging, releasing and inventorying items in the storeroom area. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight and have basic communication skills.

Essential Functions:

• Receive, store, issue, source and rotate goods.
• Work closely with requesting department heads to assure timely delivery and product quality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hotel related experience; warehouse attendant; or other related experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to use a hand cart or dolly
• Must be able to work on their feet most of the day.
• computer proficiency is preferred
• Ability to cultivate relationships with both external and internal guests.
• Detailed-oriented with excellent skills and time management.
• Professional, clear written and verbal communications.
• Must be outgoing, flexible and a good communicator.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
