Hyatt Regency Coral Gables is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to specialize in weddings and local social events. This role guides clients from their first inquiry through event day, pairing thoughtful sales and planning with the hotel’s signature care and attention to detail.
The manager will meet monthly sales goals, manage agreements and event details, coordinate with hotel teams, and serve as the on-site contact to help ensure each celebration runs smoothly. Responsibilities also include hosting site inspections and menu tastings, and building lasting client relationships that support satisfaction and repeat business. Quarterly bonus opportunities are available.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Preferably a university degree in hotel management
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel or wedding venue event sales/event planning management or comparable experience preferred
- Sales driven and motivated by booking business
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Hyatt’s system knowledge and proficiency is a preferred.
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to adapt and to handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
