Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper VI to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety within healthcare or commercial facilities. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry services efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms.
• Use proper manual handling techniques to lift heavy objects safely while adhering to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines.
• Operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and steam cleaners to maintain floors in excellent condition.
• Follow strict safety protocols related to chemical handling and environmental services to prevent contamination or accidents.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, safety inspections, and incident reports in compliance with healthcare infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure infection control measures are upheld during cleaning routines and respond promptly to special requests or urgent sanitation needs.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling procedures.
• Proven experience in healthcare facilities housekeeping or hospital environment with an understanding of infection prevention protocols.
• Skilled in the use of janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies specific to commercial or healthcare settings.
• Expertise in sanitation practices including chemical agent handling, environmental services management, and floor care techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices; physically capable of manual handling tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with patients, staff, visitors, or clients.
• Familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility custodial standards and environmental safety procedures.
