Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and innovative.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations; handle food and beverages responsibly.
- Assist in bar management tasks including inventory control, stock replenishment, and ensuring the bar area is organized and well-stocked.
- Support catering and banquet events by serving guests professionally in high-volume settings.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes positive guest interactions and sales growth.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in fine dining environments or upscale bars.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, brewing processes, cocktail mixology, beverage recipe development, and food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Experience serving diverse clientele in hospitality or restaurant settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while promoting sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and beverage safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
