A well-funded, late-stage clinical biotechnology company developing therapies for serious neurological and CNS disorders is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Operations to join its growing team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in advancing pivotal-stage clinical programs, working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful trial execution and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day operational execution of global clinical trials from study start-up through closeout.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and other functions to deliver on development objectives.
- Manage CROs and external vendors, ensuring high-quality execution and accountability.
- Oversee clinical trial budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep programs on track.
- Ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Mentor and develop clinical operations team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across clinical development programs.
What We're Looking For
- 10 years of Clinical Operations experience within biotech, pharma, or CRO environments.
- Proven success managing complex clinical trials across multiple phases of development.
- Strong experience overseeing CROs, vendors, budgets, and study timelines.
- Deep understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and developing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial biotech environment.
