Role Description The Pre Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, TN. This position leads the pre-construction process, including reviewing project documents, coordinating with design teams, and developing detailed estimates and budgets for mechanical and HVAC scopes. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with clients and general contractors, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing proposals, identifying cost-saving options, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to define project requirements. The Pre Construction Manager also manages timelines for pre-construction deliverables, supports bid and negotiation activities, and ensures that estimates and pre-construction plans align with company standards, safety expectations, and client goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Construction Estimating and Cost Management skills to develop accurate budgets and forecasts.
- Experience with Design Management, including coordination with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Proposal Writing and Budgeting to support bids, presentations, and project planning.
- Knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems in commercial or industrial construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
