Sales Operations/Call Center Manager
Compensation: $100,000 -$115,000 profit-sharing bonuses (estimated $0-$8,000 annually)

Huyett is a 100 year old industrial fasteners master distributor with a brand-new state-of-the art fulfillment center in La Porte. We are looking to start up a call center team to partner with our in-field North American sales force to grow our business nationally. In addition, this role will support existing account management operations and a Will Call desk, with front line leaders and supervisors.
The ideal candidate is an enterprising leader of people, with process focus. Experience is not as important as the resilience to build a team and processes from scratch, in coordination with corporate and senior management support. This is a complicated role given the technical nature of the product lines, the necessary discipline in workflow management, and operating as a steward of a comprehensive performance management and professional development program. The call center aspect is long term and not replaceable with AI. The nature of the call center is relationship development and not hard selling. We offer these benefits and more:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a two-level work team including Call Center, Customer Service Will-Call, and Key Accounts
- Optimizing time-to-quote and customer response times
- Earn new business with call center relationship management and gentle prospecting
- Utilize, review, and develop data analysis/reporting tools for tracking success.
- Identify and communicate business opportunities as applicable.
- Foster an environment of trust and credibility while developing a business partnership with internal and external customers.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Sales or customer service management experience
- Experience with managing multi-level work teams
- Experience in industrial distribution and power transmission segments preferred.
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Evidence of success in people management, career development, and achievement of results in the body of work
Work Environment: Office setting using sit/stand desks with friendly, out-going, team-oriented staff. Candidates should anticipate a very fast-paced, productive work environment. The candidate will also navigate in our manufacturing plant environment to interface with operations teammates. This environment includes exposure to high temperatures, moving machinery, moving equipment, heights, and confined spaces.
