Base Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 20% Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications and services
- Build scalable platforms to support trading, analytics, and data processing
- Collaborate closely with front-office stakeholders, quants, and product teams
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and latency
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality delivery standards
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Python
- Strong experience with distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architectures
- Background in financial services, trading systems, or capital markets preferred
- Experience with data pipelines, large datasets, and performance optimization
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles (testing, CI/CD, DevOps)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Exposure to low-latency or real-time systems
- Experience working with quantitative teams or financial data
