DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer (Contract) We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to support enterprise cloud applications in a production environment. This role is heavily focused on AWS infrastructure support, automation, monitoring, and post‑deployment operations, working closely with developers and globally distributed teams. What you'll be doing:

• Support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes (Rancher highly relevant)
• Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Partner with developers to understand application code, containers, and artifacts
• Own post‑deployment responsibilities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging
• Build and maintain complex dashboards and queries in Splunk and Datadog
• Work with offshore teams responsible for deployment execution
• Maintain a strong understanding of overall cloud architecture
• Limited exposure to GCP (future-facing; AWS remains the core focus)
  
  

What we're looking for:

• Ideal: 6-7 years of DevOps / Cloud experience
• Open to 4-5 years with strong fundamentals and motivation to learn
• Hands-on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Datadog and Splunk experience
• Strong production support and collaboration skills

• Standard business hours, no on-call shifts
