DevOps Engineer (Contract) We're hiring a DevOps Engineer to support enterprise cloud applications in a production environment. This role is heavily focused on AWS infrastructure support, automation, monitoring, and post‑deployment operations, working closely with developers and globally distributed teams. What you'll be doing:
- Support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes (Rancher highly relevant)
- Use Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Partner with developers to understand application code, containers, and artifacts
- Own post‑deployment responsibilities including monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Build and maintain complex dashboards and queries in Splunk and Datadog
- Work with offshore teams responsible for deployment execution
- Maintain a strong understanding of overall cloud architecture
- Limited exposure to GCP (future-facing; AWS remains the core focus)
- Ideal: 6-7 years of DevOps / Cloud experience
- Open to 4-5 years with strong fundamentals and motivation to learn
- Hands-on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Datadog and Splunk experience
- Strong production support and collaboration skills
- Contract engagement (US Citizens Only) with long-term potential
