Requirements

Key Responsibilities
*Safety Leadership & Culture*
- Partner with project leadership and trade partners to integrate
- Enforce safety policies and reduce hazards through coaching,
- Promote substance abuse prevention and accurate reporting of
*Inspections & Compliance*
- Conduct and document safety inspections at least twice per month.
- Ensure proper use of protective equipment, availability of first aid
- Maintain OSHA logs and coordinate compliance reports as required.
- Investigate all incidents, review accident reports, and implement
- Monitor site conditions to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Facilitate weekly Safety Toolbox Talks and project safety meetings.
- Maintain and submit all safety-related documentation to the
Education And Experience
- Bachelors degree in Safety Management or related field required;
education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing safety programs on
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proven ability to manage orientations, conduct investigations, and
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective collaboration with owners, management, trades, and trade
Preferred Certifications
- Federal OSHA Professional Certificate in Occupational Health &
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician)
- STSC (Safety Trained Supervisor Construction)
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
- Flexibility to travel to project sites across the Midwest for
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and
- Capacity to occasionally lift, carry, or move materials or equipment
- Comfort with walking, standing, or climbing for extended periods of
- Flexibility to adjust work hours, which may occasionally include
- Possession of a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
