Huron Gastroenterology is an adult medical gastroenterology practice specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders that affect the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Our practice includes 25 physicians who are board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 10 Advanced Practice Providers, and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for a Ancillary Procedure Technician in our Ypsilanti location. Under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager. The Ancillary Procedure Tech will handle both clinical and clerical responsibilities and provide excellent patient care. This position performs a variety of duties which include scheduling appointments, obtaining health history, as well as assisting in clinic procedures and assisting the RNs. Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program or EMT certification
- BLS or CPR card required within first four months of hire
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years direct patient care experience, including some clinical procedural
- Physician office experience preferred
- Experience understanding and navigating through an EHR/EPM system
