Registered Nurse - Perioperative
4 days - 9 Hour shifts
Huron Gastro, P.C. is an adult medical gastroenterology practice specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of disorders that affect the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), rectum, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Our practice includes 24 physicians who are board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 8 Advance Practicing Providers, and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work 4, 9-hour days. The selected candidate would demonstrate extraordinary patient care and be detailed oriented.
Responsibilities would include:
- Patient admissions and preparation
- Implement patient plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures for the care of the patient
- Physician assistance
- Endoscopic procedure assistance
- Monitor and support for the recovery of patients undergoing anesthesia
- Conscious sedation administration and the use of reversal agents
- Patient charting in EMR system
Requirements
Education
- BS or BSN Nursing preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Current RN License in good standing is required
- CPR or BLS Certified
- ACLS Certified
Experience
- 2 years of nursing required
- Pre-operative and recovery experience preferred
