Hupy and Abraham S.C., P.C., a personal injury law firm headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, is looking for a motivated Workers Compensation Paralegal Assistant for our West Des Moines office.

Our Workers Compensation Executive Legal Assistants are responsible for administrative support of our Workers Compensation Litigation Paralegal team, assisting with case files, legal document preparation & case/project management duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings & handling correspondence
- Drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents
- Sending letters of representation to involved parties & insurance carriers
- Conducting legal research and preparing materials for review, including those related to medical treatment & billing.
- Provide status updates to insurance companies and subrogation providers.
- Request clients’ medical records & bills
- Maintain and update client management database (Filevine)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified candidates should have strong administrative experience. Experience in a law firm preferred.
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Innovative problem resolution
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced/dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer experience should include basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
