Location: Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
Pay Rate: $14.50 per hour tips
Employment Type: Part-Time
Shift: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Huntleigh USA is seeking customer service–oriented individuals to join our team as Wheelchair Agents at Norfolk International Airport. In this critical role, you will assist passengers with reduced mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely escort passengers in wheelchairs throughout airport terminals and gate areas

• Provide exceptional customer service by offering courteous and thoughtful assistance

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, gate agents, and airline personnel to coordinate services

• Comply with TSA and airport security procedures at all checkpoints

• Maintain accurate documentation of passenger interactions and report any unusual incidents

• Uphold a professional image when interacting with passengers, airline staff, and the general public

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift

• Comfortable with bending, squatting, pushing, and prolonged standing

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Reliable transportation and dependable contact information

• Ability to successfully pass all required drug and alcohol screenings (DOT/Non-DOT)

• High school diploma or GED (required in some locations)

Training & Uniform

• Paid training provided by Huntleigh USA and our airline partners

• Professional attire required: company-issued uniform, neat grooming, no visible tattoos above the neck or below the wrist, and no facial piercings
