This is a unique opportunity to work in a dual-role position supporting both Aircraft Security and Passenger Services functions in a fast-paced airport environment.

Important Information

This position combines two job functions: Aircraft Security and Passenger Services. By combining these roles, HuntleighUSA is able to offer flexible employment opportunities.

When performing Aircraft Security duties, the pay rate is $18.00 per hour. When working as a Passenger Services Agent, the hourly pay rate is lower; however, you will have the opportunity to earn tips from passengers you assist.

Position Summary

The Catering Security Agent is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of aircraft, catering operations, and restricted areas while also supporting passenger service functions as needed. This role ensures all security protocols are followed and that only authorized personnel and approved items access the aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other personnel to maintain aircraft security
• Conduct security screenings (hand wand and/or pat-downs) for individuals accessing aircraft areas
• Verify and monitor proper display of SIDA badges
• Maintain detailed logs of all personnel accessing aircraft, including names, times, and affiliations
• Inspect all items being loaded onto aircraft to ensure no prohibited items are present
• Inspect food trays and catering items prior to aircraft loading
• Inspect transportation vehicles to ensure compliance with security protocols
• Secure and seal trays and transportation vehicles after inspection
• Operate detection devices to prevent prohibited items from entering restricted areas
• Report irregularities, damages, theft, or unauthorized activity immediately
• Complete daily reports documenting activities and incidents
• Contact emergency services when necessary
• Perform additional security-related duties based on airline requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and FBI fingerprinting
• Must be able to comply with random drug and alcohol testing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict security protocols
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move frequently throughout the shift

This role operates in a highly secure airport environment with strict compliance to TSA, airline, and airport regulations. Employees must maintain professionalism, awareness, and attention to detail at all times while working around aircraft and restricted areas.
