Assistant Manager

Huntington Learning Center of Clifton Park has an opening for full-time Assistant Manager.

Huntington is a national organization, with each location owned locally. We have been the nation's recognized leader in the supplemental educational services industry since 1977. We are a tutoring and test prep center, offering customized programs in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Study Skills, Science, Test Prep, and SAT/ACT prep. Our students increase reading and math skills by an average 2 grade levels, and SAT students increase their scores by an average 229 points. We are educators who truly care about student success.

Responsibilities for this role include:

· Providing exceptional customer service when interacting with parents and students by phone, email and in-person.

· Training part-time teachers and monitoring their performance.

· Monitoring student curriculums/programs to ensure academic achievement.

· Tutoring K-12 students in a 1:1 or small group setting (depending on your skill set).

· Performing academic evaluations of prospective students.

· Administrative duties including scheduling.

Schedule:

· We can be somewhat flexible, but hours are mostly weekdays between about 12pm and 8pm.

Requirements:

· Teaching/Tutoring experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in management, customer service or administrative work is helpful.

· Must enjoy working with K-12 students!

· Bachelors degree.

· Enthusiastic and team-oriented personality.

· Outstanding communication skills.

· Highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
