The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as the face of HR to our leaders, managers and associates. This position is responsible for providing HR partnership and consulting that will help build capability and develop employees, creating the right talent, right leadership and right culture to impact and grow our business.
Human Resources Business Partner Responsibilities:
- Consult with, advise, and support business leaders regarding change initiatives, workforce planning, performance management, change management, talent management & development, compensation, engagement, employee relations, culture, diversity and inclusion and HR programs and projects
- Coach and consult with relevant business groups to identify options and find the most appropriate solutions to meet the business needs; work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives
- Leverage HR data and workforce analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and provide actionable insights that support talent strategy, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Work with managers and employees at all levels of the organization to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
- Coach managers to help them strengthen their leadership skills; serve as a sounding board and confidant during difficult interactions and business situations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising on needed actions
- Develop and foster a highly engaged workforce for assigned teams
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect the company’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading
- professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
- Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members.
- Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies.
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications.
- Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the company mission, vision and values.
Human Resources Business Partner Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience managing complex and sensitive employee relations matters.
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to provide actionable insights and inform business decisions.
- Strong business and HR acumen, with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Demonstrated experience across core HR functions, including compensation, organizational planning, talent management, organizational development, and change management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and partner with leadership at multiple levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $95,000 - $125,000
