As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will play a key role in connecting top healthcare professionals with leading hospitals, health systems, and medical organizations nationwide. You’ll partner with internal teams and clients to source, qualify, and place clinical and non-clinical talent in a variety of settings. Experience and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, healthcare, or related field
- 2 years of recruiting, sales, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Prior collaboration in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment preferred.

- Proven relationship-building ability with both candidates and clients.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to compliance and credentialing standards.

- Strong technological aptitude and proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and healthcare job boards (e.g., Vivian, Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter).
- Ability to pass Hunter’s post-offer employment requirements, including background check and drug screen.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for both contingent and direct hire positions, including nurses, medical assistants, allied health professionals, administrative staff, and healthcare leadership roles.
- Utilize advanced Boolean search strategies, healthcare job boards, and professional networks to identify active and passive candidates.
- Maintain accurate and detailed candidate records in the ATS, including communication logs, resumes, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all candidate records meet HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
- Conduct pre-screen interviews via phone or video to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Communicate job expectations, benefits, and facility details clearly and professionally.
- Manage candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding and placement.
- Provide interview preparation, feedback, and ongoing support throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain engagement with placed candidates to support retention and job satisfaction.
- Client Collaboration -Partner with healthcare clients to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, and organizational culture.
- Provide timely updates on job requisitions, candidate pipelines, and placement activity.
- Support clients with compliance, credentialing, and onboarding processes as needed.
- Meet or exceed performance goals including placements, gross profit targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare recruiting standards, client contracts, and company policies.
