What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior HSE Advisor position at Hunter Hamilton?
- Lead and support enterprise-wide Environmental, Health, Safety & Security programs across multiple operational sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, RCRA, NFPA, FDA, and other applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Conduct and manage regulatory inspections, internal audits, incident investigations, and corrective action programs
- Develop and implement safety initiatives, industrial hygiene programs, environmental permitting, emergency response planning, and waste management strategies
- Partner with leadership teams to improve safety performance, employee engagement, and operational risk reduction
- Manage environmental reporting requirements including OSHA logs, hazardous waste reporting, RTK reporting, and related compliance documentation
- Support occupational health programs, workers’ compensation initiatives, and emergency first responder training
- Drive sustainability initiatives related to waste reduction, recycling, and resource conservation
- Serve as a key liaison between operations, corporate leadership, regulatory agencies, and external vendors
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 2–5 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety within a regulated or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, NFPA, and environmental compliance regulations
- Experience with compliance auditing, industrial hygiene practices, environmental permitting, and safety training
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing industries is highly preferred
