The role:
My client, an Elite Trading firm are seeking a Network Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, Engineer and optimise the HFT network
- Designing cloud based integrations
- Managing market connectivity
- Managing Data Center implementations
- Configuration reviews and audits
Skills required:
- 3-4 years of Network experience, ideally in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Cisco / Arista
- Some Linux experience
- Multicast experience highly desirable (PIM, IGMP etc.)
- BGP / OSPF experience
- Experience within VXLAN / EVPN overlay tech
- Virtualisation experience (VMware, KVM, Proxmox etc.)
- VPN configuration
- Network automation experience useful (Python, Ansible)
- Experience working within AWS, GCP or Azure useful
