What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trading Operations Engineer position at Atto Trading?
Run the operational side of Atto’s automated trading systems. Monitor live strategies across US exchanges,
troubleshoot in real time, and build the scripts and tooling that keep everything running.
You’ll work directly with traders, quant researchers, and engineers with real ownership over operational
reliability.
What you’ll do
• Monitor automated trading systems across NASDAQ, NYSE, CME, and other US exchanges
• Assess live trading for risk and compliance, respond to unusual market behavior
• Automate and optimize trading support workflows (Python, Bash)
• Partner with engineering to improve infrastructure and monitoring
What we’re looking for
• Experience in trading operations or market operations in electronic markets
• Understanding of exchange connectivity, order entry, and market data
• Python and Bash scripting for automation
• Knowledge of US equities and/or futures markets
Nice to have
• HFT or low-latency environment experience
• FIX, ITCH/OUCH, or CME protocols
• SQL for reporting and analysis
