What You Will Do
- Maintain general ledgers for operating companies, including monthly account reconciliations.
- Prepare periodic financial reports as directed by the Controller or CFO.
- Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and resolve banking inquiries.
- Record financial transactions related to construction loans, home closings, and land acquisitions.
- Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation and account details for annual audits.
- Collaborate with software vendors to maintain and enhance accounting systems.
- Uphold confidentiality of all sensitive corporate information.
- Promote a professional, team-oriented, and enthusiastic work environment.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance industry knowledge and software proficiency.
- Adhere to departmental procedures and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Controller.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance. Required
- Minimum of 3 years in accounting or a related field. Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software systems.
