What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Construction Laborer position at Hunt Bros. Concrete Contractors, Inc.?
As a concrete laborer, you will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor for concrete construction projects to include sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement. Work will include site preparation, using a variety of hand and power tools, assist with form and steel placement, moving equipment and materials, and work site clean up. Immediate start with competitive wages.
Requirements:
- Past concrete experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train hard working, dependable individuals.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Ability to meet physical demands of construction work including kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, standing, and walking on uneven ground.
- Must adapt to a variety of weather conditions.
- Transportation to and from the job site is provided from Whittemore and may be available from other locations depending on job site.
- Perform necessary tasks in a safe manner.
Salary: Base pay based on experience but majority of work paid at federal/state prevailing wage.
