Duties
- Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistance with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions
- Support patient care by helping with mobility, positioning, and exercises under supervision
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities in compliance with healthcare protocols
- Demonstrate and explain exercises
- Prepare treatment areas by organizing equipment and ensuring cleanliness to promote safety and efficiency
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and report any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
- Facilitate communication between patients and therapists to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures
- Help manage inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for therapy sessions
