This is an outpatient clinic with manual therapy.
Duties
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Manual Therapy
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, and other modalities to promote recovery and functional improvement.
- Document clinical assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately following clinical documentation standards.
Requirements
- Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings—preferably with geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, or acute care populations.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical assessment documentation practices.
- Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques; familiarity with physical therapy treatment implementation is essential.
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages and collaborating seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated understanding of care plans, discharge procedures, and clinical documentation standards.
