Job Summary
As a Physical Therapy Technician with Humpal PT, you will help physical therapists provide quality care and support patients during their recovery process. Responsibilities include assisting with therapy sessions, helping with basic clinic tasks and documentation, and creating a positive experience for patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Thorough on the job training will occur with new hires who have little to no technician experience in the past.
Duties
- Set up treatment areas and prepare equipment before therapy sessions.
- Help physical therapists during treatments and assist patients as needed.
- Help check patients in, gather basic information, and explain what to expect during therapy.
- Record patient information and treatment details accurately.
- Keep equipment and supplies clean, organized, and ready to use.
- Communicate with licensed staff to address clinical problems effectively.
- Work with the healthcare team to help patients reach their recovery goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate patient care.
- Experience working in hospital environments or outpatient clinics is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to physical therapy is recommended but not necessary.
- Strong organizational skills for managing intake procedures and performing clerical duties.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
