The Director of Wellness plays a key leadership role in overseeing and coordinating the care needs of Assisted Living residents. Working collaboratively with the Wellness team, Health Center staff, and Resident Review Committee, this position ensures the delivery of high-quality care, promotes resident well-being, and upholds the highest standards of service.

** Full-Time, Monday–Friday
** Must be available for weekends, holidays, and on call as needed
** Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)
Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Leadership & Team Management
- Providing administrative oversight of Assisted Living staff
- Planning, assigning, and directing daily work activities
- Resolving employee concerns and operational challenges
Operations & Resident Care
- Ensuring compliance with all Assisted Living regulatory requirements
- Conducting regular community rounds to monitor care and service quality
- Participating in resident assessments and ongoing care evaluations
Staffing & Training
- Developing and managing staff schedules to meet service standards and budget
- Supporting onboarding and training for new hires
- Leading monthly in-service trainings and ongoing staff development
Resident Experience & Engagement
- Monitoring resident satisfaction and implementing improvements
- Promoting a positive environment that supports resident satisfaction and quality of life
- Assisting in marketing services to prospective residents and families
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of related experience; includes at least 2 years in long-term care or acute care and at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Active California RN, LVN, or LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- RCFE Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Experience in Resident assessment and care planning practices
