The Spay Station is searching for an Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technicians & And an Office Manager to add to our team to get our clinic open!
The Spay Station is 501c3 organization located in North Central West Virginia (Anmoore). We will serve clients in north central West Virginia. This clinic is desperately needed so that spay/neuter is more accessible to everyone. With the addition of this clinic in our community, more animals will get spayed or neutered ensuring a decrease in the influx of animals to our local shelters and rescue groups every year.
Responsibilities:
- Checking in animals for spay/neuter surgeries (Office Manager and Support Staff)
- Checking out animals after spay/neuter surgeries (Office Manager & Support Staff)
- Helping prep animals for surgery
- Monitoring animals in Post Op
- Performing select wellness services including but not limited to: vaccinations, nail trims, ear cleanings, microchipping, and SNAP blood tests. (Office Manager & Support Staff)
- Light housekeeping of kennels/lobby areas (Office Manager & Support Staff).
Requirements:Valid driver’s license/ reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent - Previous animal experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
