What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder position at Human Bees?
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality welds.
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
- Perform soldering tasks as required for assembly processes.
- Rig materials for lifting and transportation within the work area.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in D1.1 FCAW welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments; basic math skills are essential for accurate measurements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work requirements.
