You Will:
- Performs plant cleaning as outlined by the Master Sanitation Schedule. Maintains
general housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
- Ownership of Master Sanitation (MSS) activities.
- Disassembles and reassembles filters, screens and other processing equipment.
- Handling and use of chemicals including acids, chlorines, caustics and quats.
- Comply with appropriate safety procedures. Maintains and uses appropriate personal
protective equipment (PPE).
- Sanitize and clean assigned manufacturing equipment, systems, pumps, tanks.
Dismantle equipment to fully clean and sanitize to food safety requirements and
reassemble.
- Communicate with Management and Supervisors as to the status of any equipment’s
state of readiness for operations.
- Operate equipment to maintain clean floors throughout the building and production
areas removing dirt.
- Empty trash containers and other waste containers.
- Wash and dust walls and equipment or tanks to any other foreign matter.
- Ownership of warehouse (including 4C and Freezer) management increasing focus
on inventory management.
- Perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock
and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or
managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- Perform process floor organization and housekeeping in accordance with 5S
standards.
- Manage warehouse space to comply with GMP, 5S and EH&S standards.
- Assist in inventory management for Raw Materials and Finished Products.
You Have:
- High School Diploma/ GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide a clean, safe working environment.
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation methods.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to complete tasks as assigned.
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling.
- Work standing in one position for periods up to two hours at a time.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50lbs (infrequent with assistance if needed).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.79 per hour
