Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Greenville, SC
Summary:
HukariAscendent is seeking a Structural Engineer to support nuclear power and Department of Energy (DOE) projects. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects across the planning, design, and construction phases. This role requires strong technical expertise in seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing, and bracing, along with proficiency in computer-aided drafting applications.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects
- Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
- Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
