Industrial Electrician: Monticello, WIOur client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing and performing advanced electrical work, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of plant-wide electrical systems. The ideal candidate ensures compliance with safety standards, food-grade sanitary requirements, and production needs while providing technical leadership on projects and daily operations.Key Responsibilities:Plan, install, and maintain 3-phase power distribution, motor control centers, and plant-wide electrical systemsLead troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations on high-speed production and packaging equipmentEnsure all work adheres to NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local codes, including food plant-specific sanitary requirementsPerform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and ensure proper circuit protectionSpecify, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and automation components in collaboration with controls/automation teamsProvide technical leadership on capital projects, equipment installations, and plant expansionsCoordinate with QA, Sanitation, and Production teams to minimize impact on food safety and production schedulesConduct root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and implement long-term corrective actionsMaintain accurate documentation including electrical drawings, schematics, PM records, and panel schedulesSkills & Experience:Education: Valid Master Electrician License, required Experience: 7 years of industrial electrical experience, with at least 3 years in a food manufacturing or sanitary production environment, requiredKnowledge: Electrical theory, NEC, NFPA 70E, & industrial safety standards, required, PLC programming, VFD tuning, & industrial networking, strongly preferredFamiliarity: GMPs, HACCP, sanitary/hygienic conduit installations, & food-grade automation equipment, strongly preferredWhat We Offer: Health, Dental, & Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityFlex Spending Account401(K) with 3.5% company matchBonus ProgramPTOPaid TrainingPaid WeeklyDirect DepositPay: $38.00 - $45.00/hour BONUS: up to $2.00/hour, paid weeklyType: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-siteSchedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., OT as needed Ready to power up your career?
