Material Handler: Harvard, IllinoisOur customer in Harvard, Illinois, is seeking dependable individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Material Handlers to work full-time on 3rd Shift. As an Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of products within the warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. Responsibilities of the Material Handler:Perform a variety of distribution activities, including receiving, sorting, storing, and managing the flow of products in a warehouse environment.Unload and load trailers, lifting cartons and products while verifying goods against purchase orders or invoices.Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment to move merchandise, utilizing small hand tools, pallet handlers, and hand trucks.Stock shelves with received goods and load containers for outbound shipments.Prepare merchandise for shipping using a shrink-wrap machine or other equipment.Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, distribution, or a related field.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively.Must be able to discern moving objects and warning signals.Willingness to cross-train in job duties as required.Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
