Senior Technical Recruiter (Optical Networks / Photonics)
We’re hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter to help scale a cutting-edge engineering organization building next-generation optical networking technology. This is a high-impact, hands-on recruiting role focused on hard-to-find technical talent across optics, silicon photonics, coherent systems, and ASIC/DSP design.
You’ll partner closely with senior engineering leaders and hiring managers, bring market intelligence, and run full-cycle searches from kickoff through close. The position is remote; occasional on-site visits may be requested based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruiting: intake & calibration, sourcing, screening, interview process management, offers, and closing.
- Technical scope: Optical systems engineering, coherent transceivers/modules, ASIC & DSP design/verification, photonic ICs (PIC), firmware/embedded/software & system integration.
- Stakeholder partnership: partner with directors, architects, and senior engineering leaders; challenge role scope/leveling and drive crisp decisions.
- Market intelligence: provide data on talent pools, competitor activity, and compensation trends to shape strategy.
- Continuous improvement: improve recruiting effectiveness, speed, candidate experience, and quality of hire; mentor other recruiters as needed.
Requirements
- Technical recruiting background with a mix of agency and in-house experience (or equivalent depth).
- Demonstrated success hiring for one or more of the following: optical ASICs/DSPs, InP/silicon photonics/PICs, optical modules, systems integration, firmware/embedded/software.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to partner with senior technical leaders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-competition market; comfortable working remotely with distributed stakeholders.
