Job Title: Senior Information Security Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)

Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 USD annually

What you’ll do:

• Investigate and resolve level 2 information security events, escalating to engineers for further triage as needed
• Design, implement, and manage security measures for cloud-based systems
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the secure deployment of applications
• Troubleshoot domain accounts, business application identities, and infrastructure system accounts throughout their full lifecycle (creation, modification, deletion) across the enterprise
• Respond to inquiries regarding logs and reports of domain controllers, business applications, and infrastructure systems
• Evaluate, test, recommend, develop, coordinate, monitor, and maintain information security procedures and systems
• Assist and execute, in partnership with engineers, the configuration of correlation and workflow rule sets to counter current and future information security threats
• Assist with creating and maintaining department and enterprise security documentation including policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, designs, and solution architectures
• Assist with tuning security systems to ensure events and alarms provide optimal value
• Participate in on-call rotation during business hours and provide 24/7 operations support when necessary
• Work with internal and external project managers to complete projects on time, and lead or participate in IT projects to provide information security expertise, guidance, or training
• Participate in compliance audits such as FISMA reviews and SOC audits
• Stay current on the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and trends

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 5 years of experience in cloud security or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory User Groups, Microsoft Exchange, and service management systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Strong experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed
• Preferred: knowledge of the student loan or financial services industry
• Preferred: ISC2 SCCP, GIAC certifications, CompTIA Security , AWS Associate of Solution Architecture, AWS Security Specialty Certification, or similar
