We are seeking an Overnight Clinical Pharmacist to join a collaborative hospital pharmacy team supporting acute care operations in Marshfield and Weston, Wisconsin.
This unique 7-on/7-off overnight schedule allows you to work just 70 hours every two weeks while being paid for 80 hours, giving you one full week off between rotations.
In this role, you'll partner with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy across a diverse patient population.
What You'll Do
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and medication optimization.
- Participate in clinical decision-making and medication-related problem solving.
- Oversee medication dispensing, including unit-dose distribution and sterile IV admixture preparation.
- Review patient information and document clinical interventions using the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Support automated dispensing systems and pharmacy technology.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during overnight operations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy.
- Serve as a trusted medication resource for physicians, nurses, and other clinicians.
- Participate in medication safety, quality improvement, and pharmacy practice initiatives.

Qualifications
Required
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy and medication safety principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working with pharmacy technology, automation systems, and electronic medical records.
Preferred
- Hospital pharmacy experience.
- PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
- Acute care clinical pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Epic or another integrated electronic health record.
