What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC MAINTENENCE MECHANIC position at Hudson Regional Health?
Duties
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on all electrical/HVAC systems such as high voltage switch gear, three phase motor control centers, emergency generators, transformers, distribution system, etc.
Read prepare blueprints, circuit diagrams related to electic HVAC, refrigeration, estimate order and install according to code all new eletrical equipment and systems.
Achieve working knowledge of pneumatic/electric control system and plumbing associated with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Be familiar with all HVAC, refrigeration, ice machine, etc.
Able to perform preventive maintenance on chillers, air handling units, reheat coils, thermostats, air conditioning units, exhaust fan ducts, fan coil units, water coolers, pumps, plumbing and electrical work associated with HVAC.
Inspect and measure building to determine air flow requirements.
Perform installation/make modifications of ducting, registers, and other sheet metal work.
Knowledge of basic painting and carpentry.
