Overview
We are seeking a highly effective Director of Human Resources to serve as the senior executor and integrator for HR operations across our investment fund and its portfolio of newly formed companies. Serving as the primary deputy to the Head of HR, this individual will be accountable for building, managing, and continuously improving the HR operating system—spanning people operations and talent acquisition—across multiple entities.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role. The ideal candidate is a systems-driven operator who thrives in complex environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and ensures consistent, high-quality execution. This position offers a unique opportunity to become a cornerstone of the Firm’s operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Infrastructure
- Process Optimization: Own and optimize core people operations for both the fund and its portfolio companies.
- Standardization: Build and continuously improve HR processes, including onboarding/offboarding, performance management cycles, and regulatory compliance.
- Systems Management: Maintain HR systems and data integrity, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and operational rigor.
- Scalability: Translate evolving organizational needs into durable HR infrastructure capable of supporting multiple entities at various stages of growth.
Partnership & Integration
- Strategic Alignment: Partner closely with the Head of HR to translate organizational design and people strategy into actionable, executable plans.
- Operational Integration: Act as the central integrator across HR initiatives, ensuring priorities are aligned, work is coordinated, and execution remains on track.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish operating cadences, dashboards, and reporting timelines to provide visibility into headcount, hiring trends, and operational health.
- Leadership: Coach and develop HR team members, providing clarity, accountability, and professional structure.
Talent Acquisition & Execution
- Recruitment Framework: Design and operate a consistent, formalized recruiting framework across the fund and its new ventures.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Personally lead recruitment for high-priority or complex roles, partnering with business leaders to ensure top-tier talent acquisition.
- Advisory: Provide practical guidance to leadership on role scoping, interview methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
- Execution Excellence: Ensure the recruiting engine is disciplined, fast-moving, and aligned with the Firm’s high standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within hedge funds, private equity, or high-growth, multi-entity environments.
- Operational Excellence: A proven track record of building and managing scalable HR systems and processes.
- Versatility: Ability to balance high-level strategic partnership with "roll-up-the-sleeves" execution.
Salary : $200,000 - $400,000
