Hudson Dermatology is a private dermatology practice seeking a friendly, quick-learning medical receptionist to work in our new Nanuet location. As this location is a brand new addition to our practice, applicants must be flexible with thier training location until opening, this training period would be discussed during the interview.
Duties:
- Professionally welcome patients and visitors to the office in person and on the telephone.
- Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction.
- Verify patient Identity, insurance, and payment options.
- Collect service payments at checkout.
Required Skills:
- Personality and demeanor to assist patients in sometimes distressed situations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Technological skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical office experience.
