Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Location: Kenosha, WI 53142
Pay Rate: $32.00–$34.00 per hour
Shift: Night Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations in Kenosha, WI. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Level II technicians are preferred, though strong Level I candidates may be considered based on assessment results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methods
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and production machinery
- Install and align mechanical drive systems
- Complete major service, overhaul, and replacement of failed parts or components
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience or comparable demonstrated skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment
- Experience using shop equipment such as drill press, band saw, and portable power tools
- Ability to read and use precision measuring devices
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CMMS
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree
- Experience mentoring or training other maintenance technicians
- Strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance on physical manufacturing equipment
Hiring Process / Must-Haves:
- Must be able to complete a one-on-one phone interview with the manager
- If selected to move forward, must be able to attend an onsite interview
- Must be willing and able to complete an online assessment test lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours
