Highly organized Paralegal with over 3 years of hands-on experience to own our multi-state permitting, licensing, and regulatory compliance. • End-to-End Permitting: Own all permit filings from initial local research through submission, follow-up, and final closure.
• Regulatory Research: Conduct multi-state and municipal research to identify licensing, environmental, and site-specific constraints (e.g., wetlands, conservation).
• Relationship Management: Build direct, collaborative relationships with regulatory contacts and local authorities, including fire department chiefs and municipal offices.
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare and file monthly state regulatory reports, coordinating closely with operations to gather data.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and flag compliance issues and multi-state deadline bottlenecks before they escalate.

Qualifications

• 3 years of paralegal experience focused on permitting, compliance, and government
• Strong legal drafting, organizational tracking, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong curiosity and the ability to manage concurrent deadlines independently in a fast-moving, lean environment.
