HTI is seeking a technical Senior Electrical Engineer for a global leader in engineered bearings and industrial motion. This position is based in Lincolnton, NC and supports a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the plant. This position is Direct Hire, M-F 1st shift. The pay range is $95,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.

What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or related preferred)
- 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley 500/5000)
- Experience with ladder logic, HMI systems, VFDs, and servo drives
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability in a plant environment
- Experience with robotics (Fanuc), GE systems, or eddy current systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving and project leadership skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
- U.S. Citizenship required
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will support plant-wide manufacturing operations by improving equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and leading engineering projects from concept through implementation.
- Troubleshoot and support electrical systems, automation, and production equipment
- Program, debug, and optimize PLCs and ladder logic (Allen Bradley)
- Lead engineering projects including planning, budgeting, and execution
- Improve plant productivity, quality, and safety through continuous improvement initiatives
- Support robotics, automation systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and vendors to implement solutions
- Develop specifications, support equipment procurement, and assist with installation
- Train operators and maintenance teams on new systems and processes
- Provide hands-on support on the plant floor as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation (minimal onsite requirements)
- Additional duties as assigned
