What You Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 years of estimating experience in:
- Pipe fabrication
- Mechanical contracting
- Industrial construction
- Strong experience performing model-based quantity take-offs using Navisworks
- Ability to interpret:
- Orthographic drawings
- Isometric drawings
- Strong understanding of:
- Industrial pipe fabrication processes
- Modular construction methods
- Structural steel interfaces
- Proficiency with:
- Estimating software
- Microsoft Excel
- Digital take-off tools
- Familiarity with:
- Piping specifications
- Material grades
- Welding requirements
- QA/QC impacts on cost
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interpret and estimate from incomplete design documents
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience estimating modular or prefabricated systems
