HR Business Partner
Location: Duncan, SC

HTI is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner for a global manufacturing company launching a new facility in Duncan, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the people, processes, and culture of a new operation from the ground up.
The HR Business Partner will work closely with site leadership to support workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing strategic HR responsibilities with the hands-on needs of a growing manufacturing facility.

What Your Role Will Look Like
- Serve as the primary HR partner for site leadership and employees
- Support the facility launch by helping establish HR processes, policies, and workplace practices
- Partner with leadership on staffing plans, workforce development, and organizational structure
- Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for hourly and salaried employees
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, and corrective action
- Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, employee development, and workplace communication
- Support compensation, benefits, payroll, and HRIS-related activities
- Coordinate training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Track HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and workforce performance
- Help create a positive, accountable, and safety-focused workplace culture
- Partner with corporate HR teams while representing the needs of the Duncan facility
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience
- HR Business Partner or HR Manager experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment
- Strong experience with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at every level of an organization
- Confidence working independently and making sound HR recommendations
- Strong organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup or growth environment
- Experience supporting a facility launch, expansion, or significant organizational growth is strongly preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

This person should be able to earn employees’ trust while also serving as a confident advisor to leadership. Experience building HR processes in a new or rapidly growing operation would be especially valuable.
