Assembly Technician - NEW PAY RATES

HTI is seeking candidates to fill several Assembly Operator roles at our client, JTEKT Automotive, in Vonore, TN. These are Temp-to-Hire positions.

Shifts Available

• 1st (6 a.m. - 2:30p.m.)
• 2nd (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)
• 3rd (10p.m. - 6:30a.m.)

Requirements of the Assembly Technician

• Good hand coordination and finger dexterity; must pass dexterity test for Assembly position
• Ability to walk 6–7 miles per shift
• Ability to stand for most of the day and do repetitive tasks
• Able to bend, twist, lift (up to 32 lbs), push, pull, and squat
• Strong attention to detail when checking parts
• Able to work full shifts, 5-7 days a week

Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician

• Use tools and machines to build and inspect parts
• Simple troubleshooting
• Clean work areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment
• Read and follow simple instructions using charts, graphs, and labels
• Move between different workstations (loops) as needed
• High school diploma or GED preferred
