Job description:
HTI is seeking candidates to fill several Material Handler roles at our client, JTEKT Automotive, in Vonore, TN. These are Temp-to-Hire positions.
Shifts Available
- 2nd (2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)
- 3rd ( 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)

Responsibilities of the Material Handler
- Safely operate a stand-up tugger to transport materials
- Complete and deliver Kanban orders to correct locations
- Scan Kanban cards to update inventory levels
- Ensure all materials are clearly labeled and follow the First-In, First-Out (FiFo) system
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and 5S standards
Requirements of the Material Handler
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Physical ability to walk 6–7 miles per shift
- Stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Lift up to 32 pounds regularly
- Bend, stretch, twist, and use fine motor skills with both hands
- Ability to read labels, scan parts, and inspect for accuracy
- high school education or GED
- valid driver's license
