Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and floor care to maintain pristine environments.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean surfaces such as countertops, windows, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary, maintaining cleanliness of patios, walkways, and outdoor furniture.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in residential cleaning with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage for various surfaces.
• Experience with carpet cleaning and specialized floor care techniques.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
• Outdoor work experience preferred for maintaining exterior spaces.
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
