Forklift Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stand - up Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Sunday - Thursday First Shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts stocking items on the dry side of the Distribution Center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and effective materials handling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand up forklifts, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform stocking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Support inventory management by accurately tracking materials through the warehouse management system.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
• Certification in stand-up forklift operation is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices within the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
